We haven’t been to Mission since the new ownership. We were pleasantly surprised. I was happy to see the Tres Alarm Margarita still on the menu. Made perfectly by Ivan the bartender. We sat at the bar and service was perfect. I had the soup special, Pozole and boy was I happy. Hubby had Chicken mole enchiladas and ... they did not disappoint. It gets better every time I visit !! They’ve upgraded both the menu and the restaurant itself, and the improvements really show. The food, atmosphere, and overall experience keep getting better each time. Highly recommend !!

Mission Cantina in Amherst absolutely delivered! I ordered the Burrito Ahogado and it was excellent—perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and super satisfying. The chips with pineapple jalapeño salsa were a great start—fresh, crispy, and that salsa had the perfect balance of sweet and heat. The bartender wasn’t overly ... friendly, but she did check on us a couple of times and made sure we had what we needed. The overall atmosphere was fun and relaxed, and the food definitely made up for any small service hiccups. All in all, a great experience and I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!
